Me and My Nanna, LLC, originally began as a Nanny Referral Agency in 1995 in Columbus, MS. Our Founder was in need of a caregiver for the evening for her children. After several interviews, and locating a perfect nanny, a business idea was born. Hence, we now have today’s Me and My Nanna, LLC. A diagnosis of malignant papillary carcinoma of the thyroid offered our Founder a new realization for life. After undergoing bouts of radiation therapy, she soon realized a desire to act upon a childhood dream. This act was the catalyst for her completing medical school and obtaining her medical degree. While completing rotations at a well known hospital in the Atlanta-Metro area, the cries of discharged patients being sent to facilities against their wishes became unbearable for her. The need for professional, compassionate, skilled and non-skilled caregiving services in the home of homebound and recovery individuals launched Me and My Nanna, LLC as a licensed, in-home care provider.
